DR TOLGA KURT received his BS and MS degrees from Boğaziçi University and PhD degree from the University of Ottawa, Canada, in 2006, all in Electrical Engineering. Following his PhD, he was responsible for the 4G product line within Ericsson Canada. Between 2009 and 2018, he managed his first startup PlusOneMinusOne working in operational optimization for banks. He is currently the Managing Partner of AI-based compliance solutions company H3M Analytique, headquartered in Montréal, Canada. H3M has been selected as one of the 100 fintechs to watch globally in 2022 by CapGemini and EFMA. Dr. Kurt has published more than 5 patents, 10 journal articles, and 30 international conference papers. Due to his work in big data analytics, he has been selected to MIT Technology Review 35 under 35 list in 2014 and selected as the Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2013.
